Mychelle Dermaceuticals - Cleanser and Eye Cream

Here at The Amazing Blog, it's no secret that natural skincare is a true love of ours. So we were excited to come across a brand that not only uses natural ingredients, but also strives to help the planet in return. We were lucky enough to try the Refining Sugar Cleanser and Remarkable Retinal Eye Cream. The natural sugar in the cleanser gently exfoliates the skin, but after contact with water transforms into a creamy, foaming lather that cleanses and hydrates the skin. This two-in-one product eliminates the need for an extra exfoliator - now that’s truly eco-friendly. For an added boost, the cleanser is infused with anti-ageing peptides and Crocus Chrysanthus Extract which firms the skin and reduces wrinkles. It seems there is nothing this cleanser cannot do!

The delicate moisturising eye cream requires only a pearl-sized amount applied to be effective - a little goes a long way. Turn back the clock with a formula of anti-ageing Retinaldehyde, plant stem cells, peptides and rich botanical oils. This defends your skin gently but extremely effectively against signs of ageing, by firming and smoothing fine lines. We loved the silky texture and yellow tint that colour corrected against under-eye discolouration.

Janssen Cosmetics - Dry Skin Range

When we received Janssen Cosmetics here at The Amazing Blog, I was over the moon because the products were designed towards the dry skin I unfortunately am blessed with.  

We were lucky to receive a cleanser, a firming tonic and a day vitalizer. First off, I tried the Mild Creamy Cleanser. This cleansing lotion leaves skin feeling clear and protected both during and after cleansing. It is rich in natural fatty acids and also vitamins A, E and D. Use this product daily to gain the full benefits of the cleanser. The creamy consistency is particularly easy to apply and wash off.

I also tried the Radiant Firming Tonic which I thought was brilliant as my pores were visibly finer and my face felt refreshed. The tonic contains active ingredients which include soluble collagen which is profoundly moisturising and firming to skin. It is important to find a toner that does not dry out your skin, and this toner is super moisturising and left my skin looking radiant.

Lastly I tried the Day Vitalizer, which is a moisturising day cream. Once again the product's light consistency was easy to spread on my face and was rapidly absorbed. This moisturiser contain four active ingredients including Hyaluronic acid, Codium Tomentosum, Imperta Cylindrical and Macadamia Oil, each with their own incredible benefits to your skin.

Now that we're putting the winter months behind us, most people are lucky enough to bid farewell to sore, chapped skin.
