Skin Chemists Bee Venom

The harsh "sting" of realising that your skin may be ageing is quite painful, but the ladies here at The Amazing Blog know just how to prevent signs of ageing through the use of high-quality skincare products. The bee venom serum from Skin Chemists doesn’t involve getting stung by a bee, but rather combines the skin-loving powers of Manuka honey and bee venom into a unique skincare experience.

In Egypt, Greece and millennium China, beehive-based treatments have been greatly idolized for their repairing, revitalizing and anti-inflammatory benefits. Treatments that utilize beehive ingredients, such as honey, propolis, royal yellow and venom, are known as apitherapy products. With the rise of modern medicine, apitherapy practices were seen less often, so Skin Chemists brought this ancient and effective practice back to life in 2013 with their line of natural products.

The key ingredients in this serum work together to brighten your complexion and reduce the signs of ageing, since the Manuka honey hydrates, repairs and soothes skin. Additionally, the serum restores the epidermis, as the bee venom improves blood circulation, which stimulates the regeneration of the epidermis. In turn, your skin will feel firmer, smoother and plumper after just one use.

Skin Chemists - Wrinkle Killer Range

laras tuesdayWe must admit, working in the beauty world we occasionally find the ingredients of some products to be a bit bizarre!  We here at The Amazing Blog have discovered an unusual yet truly innovative ingredient introduced to us by Skin Chemists.  Their unique ingredients include bee venom, wild caviar and replicated snake venom!  With a passion to produce skin treatments that truly make a difference, Skin Chemists introduced its revolutionary Wrinkle Killing Snake Serum in 2010, launching the company to an international status.

As one the leading companies in the UK researching the benefits of Snake Serum, Skin Chemists promote not only the benefits of snake venom but also the health and well-being of their customers’ skin.  Skin Chemists use the unique ingredient SYN-AKE in the formation of their “Wrinkle Killer” Range.  SYN-AKE acts as an artificial version of the venom found in the Temple Viper, perfected for smoothing the expression of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.  This distinct combination of venom and oxygen by Skin Chemists work to lessen muscle contraction in order to rejuvenate skin, creating a more youthful look.

The entire Wrinkle Killer Range includes nine products, from facial masks to moisturisers.  This range includes Daily Defense which is a choice of ingredients, such as SPF20 and an anti-aging serum, selected by Skin Chemists that help protect the skin from everyday damage. We were not disappointed in our exploration of Skin Chemists Wrinkle Killer Professional Formula with the SYN-AKE additive.  After applying the serum twice a day for 28 days, the results of the Wrinkle Killer formula are clearly visible.  From day one, the skin truly appears more firm and feels lifted.  Even some of the girls with typically sensitive skin have had results with little-to-no irritation!  The great scent of the formula makes reapplication a breeze.  The entire Wrinkle Killer Range can be found here.  However our friends at Skin Chemists have extended an offer of 50% off for our readers when purchased here!

Skin Chemists - Trim Tum

blog With Summer approaching fast and the swimming costume/bikini season looming. We at The Amazing Blog are just very ‘slightly' going into panic mode. Eek… We’ve all been discussing in the office that there’s really not much time before we’ll all be striping off for our Summer beach holidays. So when Trim Tum arrived, as you can imagine, we were all very motivated to give it a go.  After all, here is a product that 'promises' to aid our battle to banish those unsightly little tummy bulges.

Skin Chemists are an established small family business, with a long heritage since 1890.  Their current MD Richard Walker continues on his father's passion for creating breakthrough skin creams, working alongside world class pharmacists and chemists. They are perhaps best known for their Wrinkle Killer Snake Serum which they launched in 2010.

I was very quick to volunteer testing out  this latest product from Skin Chemists   I’m known for being the laziest person in the office (my excuse is time poor and having had to do slow walks with my elderly dog). I have now been using Trim Tum for the past month religiously (morning and evening) and I have to say that I really have seen a slight difference in the texture in my skin;  although I think that I need to keep going for another month or so to see more substantial results. It contains active ingredients of Laracare and Slimexir (4%) both of which help to revitalise and strengthen the skin to give  a significantly slimmer abdomen. I’m down to the last few ‘squeezes’ and am tempted to get another tube. However be warned it is not modestly priced and is a considerable purchase at £125 for 100ml.

But those lovely people at Skin Chemists have kindly given us an EXCLUSIVE 80% discount offer for their Trim Tum so please log onto their website and enter AmazingSkin in the checkout code – ending 21rd June 2013.  Which makes it a very affordable £25!!  Most certainly I'll  now be stocking up with a few more tubes :)  Skin Chemists products are innovative, ethical and clinically proven to be effective.
