La Sultane de Saba – Hammam Rituals Kit

The Hammam Ritual Kit comes in an elegantly designed rich brown zippered pouch, it contains natural Rassoul Lava Clay, Black Soap, Shea Butter, a Kessa Glove and a spatula. The three products provide your hair, body and face with a variety of benefits that we'll go into more detail about below. You can use the included Kessa Glove with any of these three products to give skin a deep scrub that gets rid of dead skin cells. The included spatula allows you to use every last bit of these products.

First, we have the Rassoul Lava Clay which can be used on hair, body and face.  When applied to the hair this formula works to add volume and reduce oil. When used on the skin this spread is highly cleansing and works wonders for those with back acne. The star ingredients in this treatment are lava clay, rose and salicylic acid. The lava clay comes from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and works to purify. The rose works to calm, sooth and tone. The Salicylic Acid helps to improve cellular growth, create a more even skin texture, and is highly cleansing.

Next, we have the Black Soap which is a face and body cleanser for all skin types. The soap cleanser contains organic black and green olives, eucalyptus and olive fruit oil.  The organic black and green olives work together to hydrate skin, leaving a refreshed feeling. The eucalyptus provides an anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and decongesting effect.  And lastly, the olive fruit oil helps to regenerate and replenish skin. This Black Soap has made a great addition to our shower routine.  

Last but certainly not least, we have the Shea Butter. This body butter contains Shea which is nourishing, balancing, and healing. Shea naturally contains vitamins A, E & F providing skin with a variety of health benefits. The added orange blossom provides skin with a calm, soothing effect. Jane Scrivner - Nourishing Cleanser

A few weeks back we featured on The Amazing Blog Jane Scrivner's Skin Elixir - a luxurious balancing face oil that leaves your skin feeling hydrated, restored and plumped. Today we're lucky enough to be featuring Jane Scrivner's hero product: The Nourishing Cleanser. I've waited quite a while to write this review on purpose - I really wanted to get the most of this cleanser. All I can say is that if I could, I would have a lifetime supply of this and never ever look back.

The product is a luxurious and thick balm cleanser that mixed with a bit of warm water turns into this almost creamy and ever-so soft cleansing milk. I use Jane Scrivner's Nourishing Cleanser every other day; whenever I want to treat my skin or when it's feeling a bit temperamental. This unique balm is Jojoba Oil and Beeswax based blended with 9 skin loving essential oils. Jane Scrivner's Nourishing Balm comes with a Fluffy Mitt that I wet with warm water and I gently rub on my skin to remove the cleanser and any make-up residue. The Fluffy Mitt is soft and it's easily washed in warm water with the rest of your laundry, or in my case, with the rest of my flannels.

The only things that I dislike about this balm (if 'dislike' is the best word to use... it may exaggerate what I want to say), is that I find that the balm doesn't have enough slip on the skin; that is why I need to add just teeny bit more of water. Overall, Jane Scrivner's Nourishing Cleanser has become a staple in my skincare routine - whenever I use it my skin feels soft, deeply cleansed and hydrated. This balm cleanser is a definite winner for me and for The Amazing Blog.

If you ask me, there is nothing better than to find good quality and affordable beauty products - many times we just forget or don't want to realise the amount of money we spend on just one face cleanser because of the rave reviews it gets. Like most 20-somethings, I have a love-hate relationship with my skin. Some weeks it'll be clear, and others I've seriously considered wearing a bag over my head. So I'm constantly trying new cleansers, toners and moisturisers to get that elusive, long-lasting perfect skin. And I think I may have come close with Själ's skincare range. I've been using the Combination Skin Essential Kit quite religiously for the past month and I can really tell a difference in my skin. The kit comes with Balans Deep Pore Cleanser, Light Cellular Renewal Cream, and the Perfecting Mask. From the first few times I used the products, I could feel how high quality they were, they just feel so luxurious on your skin. It took about a week for me to see a visible difference, and as a rule of thumb I like to give products a good amount of time to trial, as sometimes it takes a while for your skin to react.The cleanser is light but effective - I'm used to my facial cleansers foaming up, but the Balans cleanser stays light as you use it. The cream smooths over your skin easily, and you really don't need a lot to do the job, and considering the price that's a bonus in my book. The mask is as light as the cream, so you only need to smooth on one layer and leave it, afterwards it leaves your skin silky smooth. The Själ range is so unique and effective because of it's use of gemstones and minerals, they increase cellular productivity, provide skin clarity and micro-circulation. Själ  products use the highest quality ingredients and don't use silicone caffeine or petroleum jelly. Even though I've not tried the whole range, I'd be pretty comfortable saying they'd be as effective as the products I've been using.
